Medical Arts Academy
Student Eligibility Requirements and Expectations

• Students must be accepted to the Medical Arts Academy.
• Participating students must maintain a grade point average (G.P.A.) of at least 2.5 for ongoing membership in the program.
• Medical Arts Academy students must comply with all school rules.
• When participating in internships, job shadowing or volunteer experiences, students are expected to comply with grooming and dress standards of the medical community. This includes the wearing of “scrubs” and/or lab coats on designated days.
• Students are expected to join and participate in the Pemberton Township High School Chapter of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America).
• Students are expected to accumulate a total of 60 or more volunteer hours in a medical or health career related field.
